Less Misérable.

In a busy London entertainment environment, Underbelly’s Festival Southbank needed to appeal to distracted Londoners in other ways. A sort of pop-up festival with countless acts, outside bars and a true carnival spirit in the centre of London… you can keep your ‘Harry Potter and the Abused Consumer’.

A festival for everyone

As the festival caters to families as well as students and professionals, an illustrated style was adopted to enable us to literally paint a picture of what the people were to expect. This was applied across all posters as as well signage and online. Finally we designed the festival programme, peppering it with colour, illustration and some semblance of joy.

NICE THING SOMEONE SAID

“After having worked with Carolyn at Whitespace on the Fringe for many years, I was excited to hear of her new venture with David. Together as DO they are a formidable force of creative expertise and consistently maintain the highest level of account delivery across everything they work on.”

— Elizabeth Burchell, Former Director of Marketing & Communications

Nice, right?
